NFCA’s Pen Pal Program for Caregivers

The National Family Caregivers Association has started it’s own Pen Pal Program. Designed to let people reach out to other people who are facing the same daily care-giving struggles. The Pen Pal connections that are available can be a source of daily help.
The NFCA started out with a Story Project, your care-giving stories are also welcome. Search through the stories to find one that relates to yours and check the circle that says “Looking for a Pen Pal.
Next the “Contact” button shows that  this family caregiver is willing to be a pen pal with other family caregivers. Then you’ll be asked to submit your own information which will be directly sent to the caregiver you’ve selected. A response is not guaranteed.
The goal of this program is to open up new connections to offer caregiver support, in many different situations. What a great idea to have a Pen Pal, possibly like you did when you were a child!
